The crowd decides, not a jury
Roundr was born from an idea as simple and old as the street: the best battle isn't decided by a panel of judges, it's decided by the people standing in front of it. We're from the scene, and we built the tool the scene was missing.
Where we come from
Before we built an app, we ran battles. Cyphers in the plaza, neighborhood championships, meet-ups where the winner was settled by shouting. We saw the same thing every time: brutal energy… that vanished when it ended. No clear bracket, no memory, no real way for the crowd to decide.
Roundr is the answer to that: the infrastructure and identity the battle scene never had, so every duel counts and every competitor leaves a mark.
What we believe
We believe the crowd isn't a spectator: it's the judge. That's why Roundr has no closed jury —the audience votes live from their phones and the score shows on screen. You don't watch the battle: you crown it.
We believe this holds for every art of the duel: freestyle, breaking and street dance, beatbox, scratching, skate and aura. One mechanic —bracket, rounds and vote— for the whole culture of the battle.
What we build
Roundr is the “Strava of battles”: you claim your @tag, rack up points, wins and aura, and climb a ranking that remembers who really rules. Running a tournament takes minutes and needs no install: a QR, and the street is already voting.
None of this replaces the scene; it amplifies it. Every organizer who runs a battle with Roundr and every competitor who claims their card makes the culture a little bigger.
